Army Sgt. Marshall was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska. Marshall died in Tunis at Forward Operating Base Kalsu of wounds sustained from enemy indirect fire. Brad was always a fun loving jokester. After a trip to the orthodontist as a young boy, he proudly wore a T-shirt that said: “Braces make better lovers.” His since of humor continued as he got older. As a teenager, while on a renovation job with his dad, he once rode a trash bin through McCain Mall in North Little Rock, Arkansas after hours, setting off alarms. Brad served in the Army from 1990 to 1994, and then re-enlisted in 2006 as a paratrooper. In October, he was sent to Iraq leaving behind the love of his life, his wife Gina, and two sons. He was a passionate and dedicated soldier and a loyal friend. A childhood friend told how when he started his insurance business eight years ago, Brad was the only one of his friends to actually buy a policy from him. Brad loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, camping and hiking mostly because he could spend time with friends and family. Fun loving, athletic Brad was a steadfast and dependable man who always made sure things got done – cutting the grass at his church, remodeling a home for his former high school coach, chores around the house, vacations with his family – in his own quiet way.Burial:
